My new topic for my research paper is going to be Panhellenic sororities at FSU. I decided recently that I was going to rush in the fall. I want to get all the information I can on joining a sorority so that after rush I can decide if I want to officially become a member. This is a community that I am thinking about joining and that I believe I can find information easily. In my research, I would like to discover why women decide to join a sorority and is it beneficial to join a sorority at Florida State. For my text, I am going to use a picture on the FSU Panhellenic Instagram. I am either going to use their post specifically or I will go to a specific sororities Instagram and use their picture. For my interview, I am going to try to get as many girls as possible so that I can have an abundant amount of information from direct sources that are involved in the Panhellenic community. My first interviewee will be my friend Cassandra Roditis. She is going to be a junior in the fall and participated in spring rush and is now a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. My next interviewee will be Rose Amato who will be a junior in the fall and is in Zeta Tau Alpha. Another potential interviewee will be Ashley Ott who will be a senior in the fall and is in Alpha Chi Omega. My last student interviewee will be Lindsey Fichtner who will a sophomore in the fall and is in Kappa Alpha Theta. I also plan to interview my Aunt who was in Kappa Delta at West Virginia University. I think she will be a good source to establish what greek life means beyond graduation.
